Designed to be used as implants in vulnerable timbers such as joist ends or lintels resting or embedded in masonry, or in timbers in ground contact, e.g. sole plates or ground cills. Sich timbers may be periodically or continually damp or wet. Under these conditions Boron Timber Rods will diffuse rapidly and distribute preservatives into the surrounding timber.
